What Poly Portfolio is, what it isn't, and the risks you take on when trading event contracts.

Educational content, not financial advice

Everything published on Poly Portfolio — including portfolio compositions, risk levels, performance figures, guides, and FAQ answers — is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing should be read as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any event contract or portfolio. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions. If you're unsure whether event markets are appropriate for your situation, consult a qualified professional.

Risk of loss

Event contracts are high-risk instruments. Contracts that resolve NO expire worthless, and it is possible — common, even — to lose 100% of the amount you put into a position or portfolio. Portfolios labeled "High" risk are constructed largely from low-priced, long-shot contracts where most positions may resolve to zero. Diversification across a basket reduces single-outcome risk but does not eliminate the risk of losing your entire stake. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

Past performance

Any performance figures shown (for example, a portfolio's return over a trailing period) are historical and are not indicative of future results. Event markets are driven by real-world outcomes — elections, policy decisions, economic data — that can move prices sharply and unpredictably at any time.

Our relationship to Polymarket

Poly Portfolio is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Polymarket. All trades are executed on Polymarket through your own account, under Polymarket's own terms of service, fees, and rules, which you are responsible for reviewing and complying with. Market availability, resolution criteria, payouts, and settlement are determined entirely by Polymarket, not by us. If Polymarket suspends a market, changes a resolution, or restricts your account, Poly Portfolio has no ability to intervene.

Non-custodial service and API access

Poly Portfolio never takes custody of your funds. When you connect your account via API key, you authorize trades to be placed through your own Polymarket account. You are responsible for safeguarding your API credentials and for all activity that occurs through them. You can revoke API access at any time through your Polymarket account settings. Poly Portfolio is not a broker, dealer, exchange, custodian, or investment adviser.

Eligibility and jurisdiction

Access to Polymarket is restricted in certain jurisdictions, and those restrictions apply equally to portfolios purchased through Poly Portfolio. It is your responsibility to ensure that using Polymarket and Poly Portfolio is lawful where you live. We make no representation that the service is appropriate or available in any particular location.

Accuracy of information

Prices, probabilities, holdings, and statistics displayed on Poly Portfolio are drawn from third-party data sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors. The price you see at the moment you click buy may differ from the price at which your orders actually execute, particularly in fast-moving or thinly traded markets. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on the site.

No guarantee of service

Poly Portfolio is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that any order will be placed or filled. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Poly Portfolio and its team are not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, or damages arising from your use of the service.
