Privacy Policy.

Poly Portfolio ("we," "us") helps you buy portfolios of event contracts through your own Polymarket account. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and basic account settings.

Polymarket API credentials. When you connect your Polymarket account, we store the API credentials you provide so we can place portfolio orders through your account and sync your balance and positions. These credentials are stored encrypted.

Trading and portfolio data. We process information about the portfolios you view and buy, your positions, balances, and order history synced from your Polymarket account, in order to display your holdings and performance.

Usage data. Like most websites, we automatically collect technical information when you use the service: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interactions with the product. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the product is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we use your information

We use your information to: provide the service (executing basket purchases you initiate, displaying your portfolio and performance); keep your account secure and prevent fraud or abuse; fix problems and improve the product; communicate with you about your account, service changes, and — only if you opt in — product updates; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their advertising purposes.

Your API credentials, specifically

Because API credentials are the most sensitive data we hold, they get their own rules. We use your credentials only to place orders you initiate and to sync your account data. They do not allow us to withdraw funds from your Polymarket account. Credentials are encrypted in storage and are never displayed back to you or anyone else after you save them. You can revoke our access at any time, either by deleting the connection in Poly Portfolio settings or by invalidating the key in your Polymarket account — revocation on Polymarket's side takes effect immediately regardless of anything on ours.

When we share information

We share information only with: service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, analytics, email delivery), who may process data only on our instructions; Polymarket, in the sense that orders placed through your connected account are visible to Polymarket under its own privacy policy, which governs your relationship with them; legal authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or the service; and a successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information and API credentials within 1 business day, except where we're legally required to retain certain records. Deleting your Poly Portfolio account does not affect your Polymarket account or any open positions, which were never in our custody.

Security

We protect your information with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and you play a part too: protect your login credentials, and never share your Polymarket API key with anyone — including anyone claiming to be Poly Portfolio support. We will never ask for it.

Children

Poly Portfolio is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or an in-product notice before the changes take effect, and we'll update the date at the top of this page.
